One other thing... you cannot only have the remote start package. It requires the Connected Care, so the total for both in ~$200 per year.

I signed up for 2 years when I bought the car, and it will cost another $200 for the last year of my lease. Now I have to decide if I also want to renew the NAV/Google package. It's pretty neat, but adding that in makes the whole thing pretty pricey for all 3 years.

Good point. I called yesterday because my connected care just auto renewed after the trial period and I wanted to drop it while keeping the remote. Was told exactly what you mentioned above ($200). Not thrilled but it is what it is.

Be worth checking if you can get a partial credit back if the car is returned on lease. Sirius and other subscription services will often allow you to terminate early for a refund.

My 2014 Equus must have been one of the first to roll out the BlueLink remote start. It doesn't offer a lot of the features you guys have with the new Genesis. I only have a few option...

Lock the doors
Unlock the doors
Sound horn for 15 seconds or so
Flash lights for 15 seconds or so
Start the car

I do not have the ability to shut the car off if needed. Which is kind of dumb if you ask me.
