    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm in my Free Period but was requested to provide my CC to activate
the services, I was assured my CC would Not be charged. 6 weeks in and a BL charge appeared on my statement!!
Yes, I called & yes it will be refunded
(7-10days).. Damn bad business practice if you ask me..I was also told that the Free Period would end NOW as I had asked to have my CC deleted from my account.. Really. I say again, damn bad business practice..
 
This is why I will never sign up for BlueLink (or similar program) or XM. They make their money on people who are to lazy to call up and cancel (and I would be one of them). I hate business models that work like this and avoid them like the plague.

To extend my service past the trial I did call and give them a CC
 
Re subscription business models: Sirius XM came on my Genny, and I thought the salesman said it was free for one month. I did not give them a CC number, but after a month it continued.
Then I expected it to quit after a year, but I am now in my 16th month in the car and XM continues. (I do check my CC statements.)
With my iPod and I Heart Radio on the iPhone, I don't use XM that much anyway. I won't re-up if the ever cancel it.
