  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Strange thing happened with Bluetooth today three times.

I start the car, push USB button to play my MP3 files from USB flash drive, and drive some place. Several minutes later audio mutes. I am thinking WTH? Came home, went to ENG menu and reset UTA.

Later I drive another place, the same thing happens. But this time I noticed on the bottom status bar on the screen that I have cell phone icon, the animated radio waves icon to the left of Bluetooth icon. I push Bluetooth button and see that Bluetooth system dialing "Unknown number" which is no number, and I cannot stop the call. I stopped and turned off the engine, then drove again and it happened third time. Also this time I pulled my cell phone to see if phone was dialing, but it was not the case.

Later I drove to another store and it didn't happen.

Did anybody have this before?

I once had my cars touch screen go nuts and traced it back to my cleaning the screen using the wrong type of cleaner. The screen is really a very sensitive electronic device and should be treated only with something designed for that purpose.

Anyway, the problem went away after a diligent recleaning of the screen.

That may not be your problem, so it could be time to take advantage of Hyundai's great warranty.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for reply Dave, but I don't have touch screen, it's a big knob in the center console. Today I was driving to work and it was OK. I guess I had gremlins yesterday.
