Bluetooth Not Connecting

I've been using my IPhone 4S just fine in my new 2012 Genesis Sedan 3.8 with Tech Package. No problem. Love all features. Today, out of the blue, it just is not connecting. My Settings - General - Bluetooth is on and the pairing is fine...just not connecting. Is this a car thing anyone has experienced and how do you fix it?

check your phone's settings and maybe turn your phone off and restart it. My wifes blackberry sometimes will not connect after a software update to the blackberry and a reboot of the blackberry fixes it.

And try deleting the pairing from the Genesis side, the re-pair as if new.
Stuff happens!

Thanks - I have a love/hate relationship with technology Here's how we fixed it - First, turned off the cell phone's Bluetooth (phone's Settings/General/Bluetooth). Then on the Genesis System, we went to Phone - Connections. Before trying to connect, we first turned the phone's Bluetooth back on and then on the Genesis System tried the connection and it worked.

Iphone 13 connected very quickly and remains connected for next few starts. Now getting pairing failed message, can delete from both phone and genesis and repair, but same issue comes back.
Have been having issues with crankshaft sensor and replacing that soon... could these be connected and caused by electrical issue?

My iPhone 16 is not connecting with Genesis 2011. My iPhone 13 did. On iPhone16, it is not even showing on the phone.
