  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a Tracfone Motorola W376g paired to my 2009 Genesis sedan. It works fine except the only way to answer a call is to answer the cell phone and then talk using the car. I can turn the phone off and make calls using the Blutooth on the car. The Motorola W376g is the only cell phone that is compatible using the Tracfone System. I don't want to use one of the normal cell phone companies. I have tried deleting and then paired the phone again but it still worked the same. Has anyone tried any of the other Tracfone's?

My advice is to check everything in your phone. Check all settings. When I first got my SLVR L9, when I had an incoming call, the bluetooth in the car would answer without me even hearing it ring. The first thing I knew, I would hear the person calling me saying, "hello, are you there". Took me a while to figure out that the setting in the phone was set for the phone to automatic answer. I set the phone to not automatic answer, and voila, the system works correctly.

Check your settings in the phone. (Also check the settings in your car - I can't remember what buttons in the car have to be hit, but there is one or two settings there).

Good luck.

Thanks Bob. I will check both the phone and car settings.

Thanks,
