  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I had my iPhone connected for about a month. The other day it did not work in hands free mode. Went to Phone/connect Phone, Pair Phone and it was showing no phones, like it was deleted. If you click on Pair Phone you get no sub menus for searching and connecting to any phone.

Scroll forward a day and go into same menu and both my wife's and mine now show up and work fine.

Scroll forward to this morning and heading to Raleigh and iPhone shows not connected. Go back into Connect Phone/Pair Phone, and no phone show on screen and pushing pair phone does not bring up pairing menu.

Thoughts??

I don['t have an I-phone, but had a similar problem with an Android phone. Strangely turning off the phone, then powering it up again solved the problem.

Neither dealer nor phone manufacturer could give me a clue.

Eventually, a new phone solved the problem (different model phone) without all the foolishness.

I had the same problem with my 2012 Buick Regal, it would also freeze up after a call or the phone would not sinc. I then had to stop and shut the vehicle off to reset the system. Unfortunately or good luck I totaled the Regal within the first year of ownership and received full replacement value for it. Now driving 2013 Genesis with the premium package, have not had any problems with the Bluetooth system at all yet, approaching 1000 miles and love the car.
