  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Bluetooth static, aux ground loop

I purchased a CPO 2013 3.8 with Tech last week. I've noticed a couple things with audio streaming that are frustrating. I have an iPhone 5, and since I use Spotify, I have to either stream via bluetooth or use an aux cable, as the usb cable forces iTunes/iPod function.

I've noticed the bluetooth streaming has slight static on all songs, not the intermittent scratching type that would come from a bad connection, just a consistent static that seems to coincide with the highs of whatever I"m listening to. I am familiar with how compressed audio sounds, but this is a bit different. Has anybody else noticed this?

Also, I have a ground loop on the aux cable (this is when you hear the high pitched noise that coincides with the rpms of your engine).

Do you think either/both of these could be repaired under warranty?
