  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey ive gotten quite a few questions about the exhaust and wanted to confirm some of the most FAQ's

Q> does the borla system drone?
A> yes very minimally. In "Drive" low vacuum/going into vacuum in the highest(6) gear.

Q> What is the MPG?
A> I have observed 27.7 mpg on a 65 mile commute 530am at 85mph

Q> How much power does the exhaust give you?
A> Dyno proven 19 WHP and 22WTQ!

Q> How does the exhaust sound?
A> Like a bad-ass corvette!

Q> Is it quite inside the car?
A> Yes! It is surprisingly quite inside the car, our cars are built and insulated very well!

Q> what is the cost for the system?
A> I dont know, contact Borla... I think 1100-1200

Q> Is the system available on the market?
A> I'm not sure if the system has gone into "full" production, Check with Borla

Thanks Brady for the info... Any chance you could post a video similar to the one PING did on the Magnaflow?

I'll post my own video(s) with some burnouts when i get back from holiday.

Ive(borla) posted some video prior, check the Borla exhaust thread to view also utube under borla. the exhaust is soooo awesome!

I've see some video on the borla exhaust, both on this forum and youtube, but don't recall seeing anything that captured the sound from the interior like PING's video did. I love the sound of both the Magnaflow and the Borla from outside but am more concerned with the sound projected inside the cabin. I typically do a lot of low RPM cruising, so too much drone in that range would be a deal killer.

I'm at work right now so I can't view any of the videos but I'll check when i get home to see if there is an in-depth clip that highlights the interior.

Thanks for the info and enjoy the holiday!

no video yet of the inside of cabin.

I can tell you the highest decibel level i recorded inside whilst cruising at 60-70 was 70-73 db. To reference that sound level the stereo plays at 67db at #5 (bars). The highest level was uphill with vacuum. I commute 60-70 miles at 70-80-90 its still quite enough to hear a hushed growl and the air whistle by; that is until you pass someone!
