  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

i already tried getting this fixed from the dealership but it keeps coming off. They want to charge me $1100 for new parts and labor for both
I can order this part from ebay for $130 each. How hard it to replace these ? Once i remove the tire, it should be pretty easy right?

I drive 2019 G70 AWD.

The same thing happened on my G70, snd I was able to fix it without any parts. One thing to do before trying to reattach: loosen the other bolts and fasteners holding the liner in place. You unscrew the screw from the plastic retaining clip, pop the clip in the square hole, pull on the liner to line up the hole with the clip (mine shifted a bit), reinstall the screw, then tighten the other bolts.

Try that and let us know how it goes.

Same as above. They wanted like $700 for me - I thought it should be under warranty but was denied...

Anyway, as long as the plastic where the clips sit isn't torn you can do it. One of my fenders had the plastic surrounding the clip ripped. I epoxied it up and was ok.

I was also missing a bunch of screws/clips. I ended up finding a fiche and ordered all the mounting hardware just in case....

I will say, that mine was never the same, stretching maybe, and had to re-adjust every so often.
