Brake Buying Advice.....????

How much should I pay for a set of stock Brembo's for a Genesis? I have the opportunity to get them for what I believe is cheap but I'm not sure if I'm about to get owned. I've seen them on ebay for upwards of $1000 but I think that might be more than they're actually worth. Thanks for letting me know!

Along those lines, when do you get your brakes changed? I've had my car for 3+ years and over 70K miles and i haven't changed them yet, is that normal? I drive 100 miles a day and they are starting to concern me. What time/miles do others usually change their brakes?

if you can get a set in good shape for below $1500 its a good deal.

Anything from 1500-2000 seems to be about market price.

I wouldnt get used rotors though, find the calipers alone and buy new rotors.

However, something is only worth as much as som eone is willing to pay for it.
I paid 1K for mine with less than 6K on them. Rotors, calipers and pads.
