  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Brake job - Have dealer do it, find an independent shop, or do it myself?

That thing should be on display, not getting abused on a track :(

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Yes. I have had it for 22 years. It’s a 2000, bought in 2003, with 8,000 miles.
How many miles on it now, I bet it's a blast! Those cars were so ahead of their time, and still look superb!

Some cars are meant to be driven, that's one of them for sure. Might as well have fun driving it vs. just looking at it.

58,000 miles. About 1/3 of the miles were on the track. It's a great track car. I could stay with the 997 GT3s even though I was down 100 hp. It is retired from track duty - replaced by a racing simulator 🤣

Lol... that would be like having a trophy wife and keeping her in a glass cage to gawk at.

I was actually agreeing with @blnewto's comment above, that some cars are meant to be driven, not merely to be looked at.

Love that you were able to enjoy them the way they are meant to be.
