  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Black, silver, and white are out there, but boy, it's hard to find the Brown and Blue models.

I test drove a brown tech RWD at Bowie MD on Saturday. It looked very good. The sales brochure doesn't do it justice.

There are few of the brown 2015s in my area. My wife and I drove one. It was the least favorite of the colors for us.

Black and white are all over the place.

We are looking for gray or silver. Which are much harder to come by with signature or tech.

Should be no shock black, silver and white cars are first in. Brown is traditionally not a big seller.

Nice to hear. While it's not a very popular color, it does (in my opinion) look
very classy compare to most other colors.

And isn't it odd, that they only way to get Blue, is loaded.

I'm attracted to the brown as well. I would have liked to see it in person to see how much, if any, metallic is in the paint. I also like the blue, but would prefer it had more grey in the blue color. I understand from the sales guy that they used the blue as the flagship color for the vehicle for reasons I'm not sure. Seems the basic colors (Red, Black, Silver, White) seem to be best for resale. It's too bad because it's nice to see change of common color on the road! :-) Have you ever noticed with some colors on some cars (like white for instance) look good on some models while others not? White can make some cars look like a bubble and lose their lines (depending on its shape).

Yep i find the white makes the genny lose its shape a bit. The Empire State gray blends with the 3.8 wheels a bit much. I love the black and Paris in gray colors along with the Manhattan brown. They all seem to bring out the luxury in the car.

I saw that dark grey being delivered to a guy while making my purchase...I really thought that looked nice! The grey with the black panoramic and trim really looked sharp. I may have even been tempted to get that combo had it been readily available and after seeing it in person.

I have not seen brown in person yet but we have 2 Montecito Blue, one 3.8L and one 5.0L. It is a very nice color!

Saw a 2014 "Nightshade" brown today, which looked great. To anyone's knowledge, is the "Manhattan" brown on the 2015 the exact same color as the Nightshade? Just curious if they simply changed the name and kept the color the same. It had a tan interior which looked great with the brown.

Previous owner of an '09 in midnight blue. Regret selling it and am about to take the plunge again on a '15 in either Manhattan brown (available) or Monticeto blue or Marrikesh beige (both unavailable.). 3.8 RWD/Ultimate package all with tan interior only.

Thanks, Samstone33

I noticed Ibiza Blue was hard to find, I had to travel an hour away to test drive a 5.0 full loaded Ibiza Blue Genesis. Downfall is that it only comes in the white interior which is a deal breaker for me for that color.

Have you tried searching inventory in areas around you (say a days drive away)? While we only have the silvers and black here in NM, there was Montecito Blue 5.0 available in AZ. I wanted Black, so I was happy when it came in on the first shipment to Albuquerque

I've ended up purchasing my Genny 3.8 in Burgandy/wine red. I haven't received it yet, but I find the shade pretty attractive.

Weird - when I click on Brown online beige comes up as the only interior option. The dealers must be able to order differently then what is shown online.

I for one, would get the beige interior.

I have a deposit on an Ibeza Blue 3.8. The dealer has not been able to locate one in almost a week of waiting. The Monteceto blue is too dark for my taste.
