Brown Interior Option Gone?

Hey, what happened to the brown interior? (the saddle / camel color)

I just went to Hyundai's website to the "build your own genesis", and this is no longer an option with any configuration or color!

Even more interesting, some of the Genesis photos on the website still show this color, and this same color is available for the Sonata. ????

That color was never an official option for the U.S. markets on the 2015 Genesis. As with other car makers, the web and marketing information is often global and may reflect items not available in certain markets.

Thanks for the clarification. What was confusing was that this was shown on the hyundaiUSA.com website, and has since been removed.

IMHO, the brown leather option is a very nice color, indicative of what you would see offered with Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc. It's even offered on the Sonata!

Not sure why this isn't a Genesis option. Or perhaps may have been an option in the US, but is no longer. ???

It was, sadly, NEVER available as its lack was one of the reasons I almost didn't go for Genesis as I desperately wanted that Black exterior/Brown interior combination. To me that combination, kinda maybe available on an Audi in particular, is reminiscent of Biedermeier furniture one of my passions but no go. I agree: ridiculous!!

I agree that a brown interior options would be nice. Any idea how many are selling with the grey interior. (I am not a fan of grey - but you might have guessed than from my screen name.) I could see them dropping the grey interior and adding brown.

I normally don't like grey either, but with the Montecito Blue and the wood in the ultimate package, I think it looks great.

Saddle interior was definitely the best interior option for the BH series Genesis. Sad to say you couldn't get it in an R-Spec either, which I thought was lame.
