  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hyundai will be making the official name if it comes to the US market unchanged, at Equus.

I think it's a lot better then going off the Genesis lineage; or a "premium" type model.

So you're saying it's going to be called the Hyundai Equus? Or Genesis Equus?

The Koreans pronounce it as eh-koos. It would be nice have it come with the Equus logos as well. Then you don't have to buy the Korean logos. In fact, the Korean Genesis prototypes had Equus logos on them. Mainly in the steering wheel.

I think Equus would be a great name for the Brand with Genesis as a model of Equus. Equus has that "luxury sound" like Lexus.

I really don't think this car should come over with any Hyundai badges. Nobody complained when the Buick Riviera never had a Buick badge or logo. And Buick wasn't the only company to do it. Sell the Equus at Hyundai dealerships but don't have any "H"s on the car.

Does the Equus have any badges that signify Hyundai? The only ones I could think of would be the Engine cover, or the windows..
