  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I have a 2013 Hyundai Genesis sedan. And was wondering where can I buy stock mufflers. I need to put them in so it won't void my warranty and can take it to the dealership to check my transmission

if you've replaced nothing but the mufflers and they deny any transmission service warranty because of it, find a new dealership...

Would you know any dealership that would except with just straight pipes

If you live in the US you have no worries, Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 protects you. It places the burden of proof on the manufacturer to prove your modification caused the issue you are having.

Warranty voids do not occur lightly, there is TONS of documentation and several review processes from people who are not employed at that dealership, the Hyundai zone representative will also come to see the vehicle personally. Essentially Hyundai, and any other major automotive manufacturer, want to make sure they have a rock solid legal case, in case you decide to sue.

A dealership has no power to void your warranty, they can only merely alert the zone rep and the very worst the dealer can do is refuse to work on your car (Because they feel their claim for warranty labor reimbursement might get rejected).
