I ended up buying my Genesis Sedan from Southern States Hyundai after conversations with the two other local dealerships in Raleigh North Carolina.
The Sales Manager, Mike Hammer, was very easy to work with and up front with costs and prices. The salesman, Rick, was also honest about facts and knowledgeable about the vehicle.
I purchased through the Hyundai Think Tank associate purchase program (HAPP), so I already had a solid price, but due to time of year, finding a car was difficult, made more difficult by the fact that dealerships don't want to deal with HAPP buyers as they don't make money on the sale.
Souther States Hyundai was able to find the vehicle I wanted and had it delivered without charging me transport/driver costs. They showed me the ins and outs of the car, the service center, etc, and in doing the final negotiations on doc fees and such, they threw in the trunk cargo net and iPod cable for free.
The detail shop is not that great - very sloppy work, but other than the cleaning issues, the car was in good shape upon delivery. 800 miles so far and the car has been great.
As a side note, when looking to buy I also spoke with the Hyundai dealerships in Cary NC and Durham NC, and Durham would not talk to me if I bought through the HAPP program, but would gladly sell me a car for $6k more, and the Cary NC dealership basically hung up on me - very rude.
