  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm buying a new Genesis. The dealer has had the car for some months now. Are there any glaring differences between the 2015 and 2016 models?

Also, what is odd is that the hood is not well aligned. The front edge gap is very different from one side to the other. I've asked for this to be corrected, but my experience off buying several Hyundais, the body panels usually fit well with equal gaps. Could this indicate something nasty?

A new car should not have that issue. If the dealer isn't willing to correct it I would look elsewhere.

This is a no brainer - get another car

Maybe damaged in shipping

Sounds like something, somewhere along the line, happened to the car. Take a pass and look for a new one. I doubt Hyundai's quality control would miss something like that.
