buying today Certified Pre-Owned Genesis sedan (I hope)

Question:
What certificate must I have from the Hyundai dealer's finance person/business manager to establish conclusively that I am buying a Certified Pre-Owned Genesis sedan instead of a used vehicle?
There is no Certified Pre-Owned sticker in window. I am told it is a Certified Pre-Owned unit.
Purchasing this morning I hope 09 Certified Pre-Owned Genesis sedan 29,500 miles off a two year lease in FL.

Although I can't answer your question directly, what I do know is that when buying a Pre-Owned Genesis, the 10/100k warranty for drive line is no longer in effect. I think it goes to 5/60k (or 5/50k, not sure).

In talking with the sales person at my closest dealer, he made mention that they can up the warranty period to 10/100k, however that is not in my owners manual, and I think that it just may be "Salesman Talk" to get people to buy a used Genesis.

I have a CPO Genesis... The certification gets you the same power train warranty that you would have had with a new one...so the powertain warranty is not reduced.

The finance guy should show you that it is certified. You will pay about a $500 premium for the policy. Oftentimes the dealer will say, I can sell the car uncertified for $500 less.

I know when I go to the service department, they have shown me the certified warranty when they pull up my VIN #.

Thanks for your responses! I did buy the 2009 Certified Pre-Owned Genesis sedan today. It is certified, so I took advantage of 10 year/100k mile bumper to bumper warranty. Could not resist color combination: Noir Black on Cashmere. Beautiful vehicle, so strong yet luxurious. Love it!

I purchased a CPO Genesis earlier this year and after a month or so I got a card from Hyundai showing it as a CPO car. I also had paperwork from the dealer stating that.
