Cam Shaft Position Sensor Location?

So as luck would have it I am getting ready to trade in my 2011 4.6 (probably for a G80.) I just did the 105K service, dealer reports everything on the car is in tip-top condition. Brakes even have 70% left on them, which is weird since I have never replaced them. Anyway, I had an offer from the dealer after service that is valid for ~15 days and sure as shit the next morning my car has trouble starting. After the 3rd try it started fine and I didn't notice anything for a couple days.

When it happened again the car fired up after maybe 5 seconds of cranking and idle rpm was double that of normal, drop the car anyway as I had to be somewhere and acceleration was way off. After taking care of business the car started up and drove normally again..weird. This happened pretty sporadically over a couple days until finally a the check engine light came on. Just went and got it read and its a faulty cam position sensor (P0335) - replacement part is 30 dollars, so I got a new one overnighted to me so I can replace it tomorrow and hopefully be done with this bullshit/trade this pig in with no "visual" issues. One thing though...where the hell is the sensor? I've seen several different answers online. Some say it's on the front of the engine which would require I remove the air intake tubing others say it's on the back passnger side and I just need to remove the engine cover and it's easily accessible... Does anyone know where this is located definitively? As stated it's a 4.6, doesn't really matter where it is to me mechanically, I just don't want to remove things if I don't have to and/or waste time. TIA

Thanks, helpful to know which plug it in in the sea of wires. What is the point of reference though? As in, is this something I need to get under the car for or is it in the front near under the intake tubing?

Ok, scratch that I figured it out. Picture had a weird angle and looks different not being in the engine bay with all the other crap... So for anyone that needs help or assistance with this in the future here are pictures I took.

Here is a picture looking at the top-rear of the engine bay from the driver side of the car.

In the middle of the picture is the electrical harness for the crankshaft sensor. It has a little bit of yellow on it.

Here is an overhead standing in the same place. The wire harness is the second plug up from the bottom of the image, larger than the others. Just above the plug in the picture you can see a black sensor bolted into the transmission housing. That is the sensor, requires a 10mm socket, kind of a pain in the ass to get in there, recommend reaching over from the passenger side so you have more room to turn the socket wrench. It came out fairly easy, took a decent 10lb force to break it free and then it was easy to take out by hand.

The hardest part of the entire replacement process was unlatching a clamp that was holding all of the sensor wires together nicely to get the old one out.
For what it's worth, I'd recommend anyone with this to do it themselves. It was a $20 dollar part at Autozone, and took me about 3 minutes after I figured out where it was. It's the exact same part that I pulled out, even has the little hyundai logo on it. The hyundai dealership down the road wouldn't take me on my word and required new diagnostic fee, the part there was $110 and would require at least an hour of labor. So it would have cost me $250 or so to have the dealership do it.

Oh, and my problem so far seems to be gone. Car is starting and running without any issues and the CEL went off after I cycled the car 3 times. I let the car sit and heat up, drove around the block a couple times to get it warmed up etc and turned it off/back on without issue. Before the car would start normally from a cold start, then once warmed up it would have problems. The sensor that I pulled didn't look messed up in any way..but looks are deceiving apparently since the problem is resolved.

I just called the the service manager at my dealership who told me he'd suspect one of the sensors as first place to look but couldnt say without a diagnostic ..... When I told him I could get all three sensors for $95 US including shipping, he admitted its less than he could supply just one.... not to mention labour, so that's what I'll do. I'll replace all three (1 crank and 2 cam) which would eventually need to be replaced anyway and if it doesnt work, we can rule them out if and when I need to bring it in for service.
