Can’t register my GV80- website or app

Hey all. Recently bought a new 2025 GV80 2.5 Advanced. Been trying to register it in the app/website and when I enter the VIN it says it’s a Hyundai vehicle and therefore I should be using myhyundai app services. Anyone had this problem? If so, any recommendations? I’m thinking on calling their concierge line.
 
Either call Genesis or talk to your dealer.

Maybe you have a Zero and the letter O mixed up.

Also, you try cutting and pasting (The same input your putting into the Genesis website) your vin into another website like one of those that give you a price for your car and see what that comes up with...Genesis or hyundai..

Your dealer should have set this up for you. Mine did not either, and it took a call to Genesis. I had to prove I owned the car before I could register it. I had to fax or email them some stuff to them, and in 24 hours I was up and running. But if your like me, you probably hate help desks.
Some people have had real issues with this especially when their sub runs out before they renew it. Mine runs out in a few weeks and I will renew it before then.

Your dealer should have had all the info in before you drove away at time of purchase. I'd go grab the salesman.

Ed, I love you man no homo, you look like some sort of sensible car mechanic or an engineer or something, and this is no troll post...

Genesis is honestly the abomination of a Hyundai. Hyundai is a cheap, throwaway car and Genesis is nothing more than a glorified version of it.

The cars are massive and the body roll is all over the place. Even a Voyah Free totally junks all over each one of them... here comes the big finish:

SAME ISSUE! Genesis app refuses to believe I bought my 2025 GV80 on Carvana from a previous owner. Website just doesn't load when i provide all proof... frustrating...

Call the 800 number. They will ask your to fax or email a photo of some paperwork ( bill o sale, insurance card or similar) and in 48 hrs you should be up and running. Happy motoring

Call the 800 number. They will ask your to fax or email a photo of some paperwork ( bill o sale, insurance card or similar) and in 48 hrs you should be up and running. Happy motoring
I had a similar issue. Long story short Genesis customer support was useless, however, my dealer had it fixed in a few minutes when I took it to them

Just the opposite for me. Dealer never registered my new car with genesis.
One call to customer support and it was fixed.
