  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi. In all the reading I've done, I can't tell if I'll be able to send a route for e a trip to the car?

I love using Google maps to plan a trip, and would love it, if I could do this and then email or upload somehow, the route I've planned.

Currently, I do this with my Garmin, but would love to be able to do this right to the car's Nav.

Assuming it keeps the 2014's BlueLink abilities, yes.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I currently drive a 2012 Avalon (which I trade my 2013 in for)

Hi Skip, I have a 2013 R-spec. I can use the Blue Link mobile app on my Galaxy S3 phone to send a Destination to the car, but NOT a "route". You can add waypoints to the route generated by the NAV, but that's about all.

I have built custom routes by sending multiple destinations to the Genesis via the Blue Link mobile app. When I get in the car, I then create a NAV route based on my ultimate destination and add the necessary waypoints by selecting from the multiple destinations (previously sent) to customize my route. This is a little tedious, but it works for me.

Hope this helps.
