Can Someone Check Something For Me?

Walked into my garage and it smells like raw fuel. Seems to be coming from near the fuel door. I gassed up today but did not fill up (half tank). Checked the cap but noticed the fuel neck doesn't have a metal flap. I cannot remember if it's supposed to have one or not. Can someone confirm whether or not the filler neck has a flap? Or do I have a bad cap? Maybe I didn't put it on straight. First time this has happened. Weird but man it stinks.

Also no CEL, although I got one a few weeks ago and it disappeared and didn't come back.

Mine does not have one. I have seen them on other car though. Never smelled gas so no idea of your problem.

Thing is you shouldn't smell any gas with a FI vehicle, ever. Especially not that strong. This car has bugs, I don't trust it most of the time.

That is strange. Mine has no flap that I'm aware of either....
