Can the charge pad be turned off?

For a couple reasons.

1) Gets my phone/ case really hot. The one in the wiff's Kia Soul damaged the coating on her case.
2) Constant charging is not healthy for batteries.

I never use them. And yes, you can turn it off in vehicle settings (I did). Don't remember exactly where, but it's there. Hope this helps.

In my 2019 g70 you turn it off via the steering wheel controls. I think in newer ones like 2022 model, it's a setting in the infotainment system I believe
