Officially.... Dead and swept under the carpet...

Forums need some love... pictures need to be updated.

Forums need to be reorganized to the common layout of many other car forums.

help has been offered, though all i see is 20 or so regulars (myself included) on the forums so revising the forums for them perhaps not a good use of energy.

Though there are hundreds of lurkers.

Whats the point of a forum... to make money or provide a service and break even ?

Along with the proposed restructuring... Sad to see the lack of management / ownership from the MOD's and forum Admin's.

Without* direction and leadership this forum is posed to die like the thousands of other forums each year.

Anyone else find it strange that the forum admin, Hyundai Genesis, doesnt own one. Current car says Drives a Hyundai Genesis/Equus In His/Her Dreams (Doesn't own one yet) -(not sure if this is accurate)

Anyways it needs similar structure to my350z, g35driver, or ziliva. Needs to be a way to track legit sellers with a feedback system. Selling on a forum without this is sketchy. For users like me that use the same name on all car forums it is easy to prove you are legit. Otherwise not so much.

I give credit to Sal, as if I'm correct I believe he runs other forums' also. I'm pretty sure he runs a Cadillac forum, and possibly others' also. He was involved with a BMW forum since he is a fan of the 7 series, but I'm not sure if he has any involvement in running it anyway. I truly understand everyone's concern though I think the lack of MODS does affect this forum too. There used to be more MODS long ago, but one mod decided to rescind his MOD status and is no longer a participating member, and the other mod listed on the forum besides "big R" I haven't seen active in quite some time.

I have not been around here that long but seems to me that scottdk, onefungenesis, and Driv200 show up more than other members. At least on the sedan side of things. Seems to me that the forum MOD should own the car and that alone would make them more inclined to implement the suggested/requested changes in order to keep the forum current and alive.

I would tend to agree with all of you statements. Come to think of it, I rarely run into a mod on this forum. Where as with NissanClub, I have mods cell phone numbers...we're like a family over there!

I was hoping this place would be more like that, but I hardly see that happening here. Often times, the boards are very quiet and in need of a little activity

same reason we dont have a single thread for everything else.

Basically forums without structure is chaos....


If the Hyundai forums were properly configured it would draw more people and this results in more $$ to forum owner(s). I've actually lost the desire to participate here. How difficult is it really to make new sub forums and update the graphics, it's not. However i suspect there's no time to do it (busy with other things).

These forums should represent Hyundai and prove it's every bit as good as the other manufacturers and forums... unfortunately this isn't the case. It made it to the starting line and stalled.
