  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone would mind sharing what price they paid or were quoted on a 2015 or 16 Genesis Ultimate in Canada? Or just HPP on any trim level. I’m specifically targeting a 2015 Ultimate and being quoted on the full 5 year, 100,000 KM protection called Premium Plus (the highest offered), and I’m being told nearly $5000 CAD. This seems high to me but perhaps it’s normal.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
In the USA, dealers tend to throw out a ridiculous first offer on extended warranties, so maybe the same in Canada. There is no standard price, just whatever they think you might pay. There is a dealer cost, which should be the same for all dealers.

Non OEM (Route 66 c0mpany nane), 100,000 additional miles, 8 years, $100 DEDUCT $2200 through a credit union.

The price seems high, however, to me, more important - I believe even their best warranty does not cover the electronics in the car for more than the original warranty. The "radio setup" is in the thousands of dollars to replace and the electronics is the area of most problems with the car.

Thank you! I’ll have to confirm this with the dealership before purchasing. Really hoping it is actually covered. I was told on this forum earlier that the features like radar cruise control are not covered, and when checking with the salesman, he confirmed that they actually are indeed covered - thankfully!

I purchased the Hyundai Motors Canada provided extended new car warranty for my 2015 Genesis Luxury package. It cost ~$2900. I went to 4 different dealerships all quoting 3 to +4k. some of the warranties were 3rd parties supported which I suggest you stay away from.
