Cancelling a destination

I could always RTFM, but the translation from Korean to Engrish, leaves a bit to be desired...
Can any of your experts tell me how to cancel a destination once guidance has begun? I cannot seem to locate a "Cancel Destination" command.

you need to delete the destination; I don't think you can cancel it. If you go to edit route or whatever, and highlight your destination and put the knob to the right you have the option to delete. Do it. Done.

Just tap the controller and you get the option of cancelling NAV.

"Suspend Route Guidance" works in a pinch.

Suspend is not the same as cancel. You target will come back after you restart the car.

As a previous poster pointed out, you have to explictely delete the target.

I wish it was as easy as tapping the button and selecting but it is not ...
