Can't get A.M. Radio

Not sure what is wrong but I do not get one AM radio channel....not even one...pure static..not even a hint of anything else....
 
Has it ever worked since new? If so, when did it change? Do you remember if anything else changed at the same time? If it has not worked since new, then you probably have a bad radio or antenna.

Do you have tinted windows? If so, do you know for sure that it is not metallic tint?

Metallic tint kills AM reception... thought it usually degrades it substantially, not a total kill. The only tint that works is dyed or ceramic.

If windows are not tinted or you know that you have non-metallic tint, then it sounds like a trip to the dealer for a fix.

Seems to be it worked when I got it but it was a lot of static.....so I focused on using XM for my news....then XM went away (free trial over) then I switched back to AM and NOTHING


Factory tint....as far as I know......

It seem likely that you have a lose wire or something, probably to the antenna.
 
There's nothing on the AM side except for over bloated talk show host with their ass flavored opinions. That's not news.

I can't tune in AM radio without statics. Bought car new & has no tint.
My Ford has no problem.
 
HID headlights can interfere too. Those off when you try listening?
 
there are still AM stations???
