I can't see the Homelink buttons on the mirror at night when approaching the garage. I have to turn on the overhead light to see them. Shouldn't they be lit?

I can't see the Homelink buttons on the mirror at night when approaching the garage. I have to turn on the overhead light to see them. Shouldn't they be lit?
How many of the Homelink buttons do you have programmed? I have one of three used; no need for the other two. Program the most frequently used garage door to button #3 between the 2 lights on the Homelink; that'll at least make it easier to hit it in the dark... compared to Homelink button #1 on the far left.
