  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I don't know if they are the same or not. The opening that I have is about 0.8" by 0.6"
I bet they are the same. I would be happy to loan it to you to verify if it fits. If it does, I have a local ship near me with a 3d printer and a scanner. I could ask them to make some.

Did anyone get these 3D printed? My GV80 is missing this cover piece....

I can't speak for anyone else, but sadly, I have not.

My brother in-law is pretty handy with 3-d printing if some one can scan or send me the piece I could try to get one printed out

I got one today. Found the whole console on an online junk yard search, they happened to have it and the guy sold it to me for $20. He would have sold it cheaper but he said he had a $20 min! Fits like a glove, and from looking at it now, I think its different than the G90, mine has a slight taper towards one corner.

I noticed something else weird, when I put it back in, clearly whomever took the original out jabbed at the surrounding plastic with a screwdriver or something thats less than delicate because there are some knicks in the immediate vicinity. Finally now I can sleep peacefully knowing my "near luxury" car is complete!

I think as the brand gets older more and more will end up in junkyards and you should be able to come across more easily. By then we'll all be ready for newer cars though! Ha!
