  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

sorry if it was posted ... only 5.1 to 60 ?? anyway.. here is a quote regarding the competition ...

"Despite its racy moniker, though, the R-Spec is not Hyundai’s take on a BMW M, Mercedes AMG, or even a Cadillac V; this Genesis lacks the pace, refinement, and road manners to run with such high-performance, high-dollar specials. In truth, it is American iron that provides the clearest competition "

"Chrysler’s new-for-2011 300C feels a bit more connected to the road, while that car’s big brother, the 300 SRT8, is more of an enthusiast sled than the Hyundai with its 470-hp, 6.4-liter V-8 and more-focused underpinnings."

Still a great bargain..

It seems like a fairly decent review considering that Car and Driver historically hasn't given Hyundai the greatest reviews. However, it looks like they tested in 100 degree temps and used the same vehicle as Edmunds. I think as a result the acceleration numbers suffered, to me getting 16 mpg during the test is a tip-off that something was not quite right. Motorweek got a little over 21 mpg and with the two V8's I have owned I have never seen less than 20-21 mpg in mixed driving at the very worse.

Car and Driver people should do a better job of proof reading. The article says the long term test used smaller 429-horse 4.6 TAU. I wish my 4.6 did have 429hp.

I had to read that sentence a couple of times myself to try and understand what they were saying. There were other few places in the article that I struggled with. I'm no English teacher, but it was not very well written in my opinion.

Note how in the section of Highs and Lows - no mention of the "unnecessarily harsh suspension" in the Lows.

i tried in many ways to understand what they are actually trying to tell us but event though i did not understand it please guys can you provide me more stuff regarding this.
