  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know if we can switch the functionality on/off where the audio system will continue to play music for a few minutes (or until you open the door) when first turning the vehicle off? My 2015 Genesis audio used to stay on for a few minutes after turning the car off, however after getting my navigation system replaced via warranty, it no longer does it, instead the stereo shuts off immediately with the car.

No setting that I know of, that's just the way it works.

If you turn off the engine in neutral the ignition will stay in ACC mode, but then you need to shut it off manually when you leave the car.

You can also accomplish this by squeezing the shift lever while the transmission is in park.

Thanks for the responses. I'll probably bring this up on my next oil change to the dealership, I suspect it's a setting they needed to enable when installing the new head unit, since initially after they installed the new head unit my backup camera wasn't showing the top down view, and after speaking to hyundai engineering apparently it was a setting the technician needed to enable in the engineering menu after installing the new head unit. Anyone here who has had their head unit replaced experience similar issues?

Just got back from the dealership, they confirmed this is not normal operation. According to Genesis tech support, they suspect it's an issue with the fuse box, I'm going to be returning to the dealership once they have the fuse box delivered.
