  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello everyone,

It's recently come to my attention that there is an issue with my steering on my 2021 Genesis G80 2.5t. This is most noticeable at highway speeds, but the car never seems to stay straight. I constantly need to make micro-adjustments in order to keep in within the lane (this is with lane assist off by the way). This is incredibly frustrating when trying to cruise because it always feels as though I don't have control of the vehicle. This also affects cruise control and the highway "autonomous" driving assist. I recently got the rear tires changed (MS Pilot A/S 4s) and an alignment done in which I'll post the specs below. I don't believe it's alignment because it drifts in both directions, not just one over the other. Any advice?

Best,
Liam

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Some cars require a little more toe in to reduce wander. This forces the car to track in a straight line by both tires pushing towards the center of the car. This will wear the front tires, so only make small adjustments.
You haven't advised us of milage or service history, so there might be damage to the front end. I replaced the front wheel bearings on three of my DH models to reduce noise and tighten the steering, but I also replaced control arms where it appeared they were out of spec. Control arms for my cars are wholesaled though various Korean parts vendors online. Last week I ordered 1AAuto replacement front quick struts to equalize ride height before I start to bend anything. They were about
$150 from any source that sold them.
