Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message

Car getting stuck in neutral when shifting drive to park

Hello all, i have an 09 3.8 genesis tech package. I had replaced my shifter cable 6 months ago because my shifter was completely stuck going from drive to park or park to drive. After replacing the shifter cable car was good for multiple months. Now intermittently my car will get stuck going from drive to park only. It gets stuck in the neutral poistion and eventually after multiple tries i will be able to get the shifter to go from drive to park. If anyone has dealt with a similar issue please let me know. Ive read multiple threads with multiple different solutions just trying to narrow it down better.
