Right. Not sure why but that is best you can do. Helps you find it in a parking lot but not your kids out joyriding. Geo fence does that.cannot locate car if more than 1 mile away
Tom can you compare the ride and noise level of the Palisade to the G90 for memy g90 is the same way as is my palisade limited.

Friend of mine has Kia’s version, the Teluride (sp). I keep telling him that it’s a TANK. Way too big.we got the AWD palisade limited about 2 weeks ago. my wife drives it most of the time.
first the ride. it is a hard comparison because it is a suv and not a low slung luxury car. that said, i have been incredibly impressed with how the palisade rides and drives. very smooth, but as you expect, not quite as nice as the g90. my g90 is an ultimate.
i did drive it from where we live near wickenburg to prescott on the back windy roads. i loved driving it there. cornered well (these are throw up roads if you get carsick). my wife didnt enjoy it quite as much....ha
all in all, it rides very nice.
there is alot of conversation about noise on the palisade forums. it centers around a whistling noise coming from the drivers window. we test drove a palisade sel and that was the first thing my wife said. what is that whistling noise. we had to have the dealership do a search for the palisade we got and didnt get to drive it before buying it but had the promise of the service manager that if it had the noise he would fix it. luckily our palisade does not have that noise.
is it as quiet as the g90.....no. is it alot quieter than our honda crv....yes. the palisade is an amazing suv and we love it.
my wifes criteria was something that rode higher than a car and had enough room for groceries. i found the perfect vehicle for her but she didnt want a fire truck, so she got the palisade.

You may be able to tell that “I don’t like SUV’s, especially LARGE SUV’s”.
Well it was foolish of her to turn down the fire truck. It comes with a couple of guys hanging on the back to help carry in the groceries. You can also park in the fire lane right in front of the store.like i said, i wanted to get her a fire truck. but she got a palisade instead......pretty small compared to a fire truck...
the great thing about cars and suv's is there is one for every one for what they like and want.
the palisade is very nice and we love it.

Is this using the Genesis App?cannot locate car if more than 1 mile away
If you get a "Can't locate" notice, does that mean you can't remote start, flash lights, lock doors, honk horn & etc?I know if I try to do a "locate" on the app if it's not within a mile it tells me so and nothing happens.
Nope. I live in PA and am currently in CA. I start my car everyday and let it run for 10 minutesIf you get a "Can't locate" notice, does that mean you can't remote start, flash lights, lock doors, honk horn & etc?

I thought about that and thought sure, why not. Its my car.I haven't personally tried that... I really dont understand why they dont provide location services farther than a mile.
Yes, I use them in my business- initial investment $25 per vehicle, $17 a month fee.you can buy devices to track
Keep battery charged.....Im here for an extended stay. I know everyday is overkill but I read on this forum if the car has not been started for “X” frequency (a day, a week, I forget what the time frame was) then the remote start will no longer work.....and as I am typing this out its making me really think and it just sounds like a ridiculous and completely inaccurate statement somebody madeWhy?
The statement is indeed accurate. According to the manual, it will work if has been less than 4 days since last vehicle ignition offKeep battery charged.....Im here for an extended stay.
