  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know of a product like CARLY for OBD customization? I have read about Carly and BMW customization and was wondering if we had an equivalent for Genesis? i have heard from someone who has done this on their Hyundai Tucson 2016 - They could make the windows go up and down with the KeyFob :0

here is the carly refrence Carly - Coding - BMW, Mini, Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, and Skoda

Haven't heard of anything like this for the G70 yet, however I did get into my service menu through the center console screen yesterday which does have a fair amount of toggles. Could probably brick your car in there though as most things are acronyms with no documentation, so you'd basically need to be a Genesis software engineer to know what the settings are referring to.

Also similar would be VAGCOM for VW, I was always jealous of the Jettas and Golfs giving themselves the windows down feature too!

Woah -- What is the password for the service menu? also is it the service menu for the android head unit?

I had a VCDS cord when I owned my A4... It was awesome being able to customize so many aspects of that car. The thing I noticed about the G70, though, is that it's much more customizable than any VAG product I've ever owned. I would be able to like to fine-tune my center differential and steering weight, though. Maybe even my adaptive shocks, without having to buy that expensive controller. That would be nice...

Mine didn't ask for a passcode, it just went right in after the screen tapping sequence on the system info page.
I believe it runs Android yes, I saw some reference to the Android build version in there but didn't grab a photo.

On the System Info screen, there is a vertical line on the left side; where that line meets the bottom of the screen, tap 10 times quickly, and then tap once on the far bottom right corner of the screen.
Then it went right into the service engineer menu.
Careful in there
