Hi -- New member here.
I have a 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T and I absolutely love it except for one thing.
The back edge of the carpeted mat or trunk liner sinks into the cargo well. Especially if I put a heavy briefcase or just about anything near the rear of the trunk. I was at another Hyundai dealer, not my selling dealer and the guy there said that this is because the car came with no spare tire to fill the deep well and support the liner from collapsing into it. He said Hyundai stopped including full sized spares with the car that year. Sounds strange but if true I don't know why there isn't something in it's place to support the liner more firmly.
The ridges the liner rests on are not enough support to keep it from popping underneath them and sinking. I wonder if anyone in this forum community has had this issue with the car, has heard of it, or has a solution ? I have looked around to see if I can buy something that will remedy this. Found nothing so far.
