  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just noticed this sticker (attached) on inside of driver door next to tire pressure info sticker. Anyone know what this is referring to? (2019 3.3 G70 Elite). What modifications? And obviously no details on reduced lbs listed. Anyone else have this sticker?

I suppose it means that if someone changed something on the vehicle they would have to fill in the blanks?

same sticker on my G80. Dealer had no clue when I asked.

Reviving old thread here...

Purchased a 2020 G70 2.0T 3 weeks ago. Had only 388 miles and previous owner was Genesis North America. The original window sticker indicates "Build F", but the car has Prestige, Elite and Sport features. Ship to location was the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, so I'm guessing this was some sort of show or PR car.

Anyway, after doing a full clay bar, seal, wax, I noticed this same sticker inside the door jamb in the same location OP found his/hers.

Google search isn't helping me much. Going to take a trip over to the dealer today to ask more.

So, just got back from the dealership. They have 3 used 2020 G70 2.0T's on the lot, so the Sales Manager and I took a look.

Every single on of them had this sticker. But if you look at OP's image, where there are blanks for someone (manufacturer?) to indicate the actual number, they were all blank, including mine.

Strange...

see post number 2. Its not strange, its filled in only if modifications are made.

Just noticed this sticker on my 2018 g80 sport. Wtf? Nothing filled in.

I peeled it off too on my 2022 G70 3.3T SP, but returned it, so new owner might think has car didn't have it. Lol. But weird they're still putting those stickers after several years, especially after the refresh. So reduced capacity compared to what? When it was the Hyundai Genesis? It's irrelevant now anyway. I bet my 2023 2.0T SP will have it too.

Again, post 2 clarifies it. It's a sticker in case modifications are made. A placeholder if you will.

There's nothing odd or surprising about it.
