  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2025 G70. I installed a Takeda cold air intake which triggered the CEL. It's installed properly with no leaks and all hoses/clamps are tight. Anybody else seen this?

What was it?

Boost leak down by the turbos. I had to really tighten the clamps down there.
Did the CEL come back? We have been doing a lot of testing and can't seem to get the CEL to turn off on 25+ G70s. Have tried different intakes, fittings, bends, etc. Only thing that seems to work are stock inlets with BMS intakes.

Yes it did come back. I opened up a trouble ticket with AEL and they sent me 2 revised drivers side intake tubes in the mail. I put the first one on and the light never returned. Even under heavy/extreme boost the light hasn't returned. It was similar to the intake tube that came with the original kit, but had 2 brass fittings instead of 1. One brass fitting in the middle port and a second brass fitting in the bottom port. The other intake wasn't used, so i'm not sure if it works or not. It completely moved the bottom port down to the bottom of the intake tube. Just open up a ticket with AEL and they will get you taken care of.

I figured out why its coming on. Under heavy boost you are fine. so I think the answer would be to increase vacuum on the ccv side (driver side) for scenarios where it is low throttle and thus low boost since previously it is used to much more vacuum in that inlet during those scenarios with a more restrictive filter.

I built a few adapters to put inside the intake (same thing ford guys do) but have had no luck.

Yea the AEL guys got it figured out. They have 2 revised drivers side intakes and I know one works for certain. They got the parts to me within a week.
