  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I was poking around the interior of a 2015 today while looking at colors. I just realized there's no power point inside the center console!! I don't know what level this car was but if it applies across the board it's very shortsighted. My 2011 V8 has it right with both standard 12v and USB sockets inside and a pass-thru for cables between upper and lower chambers. I like to keep my cell out of sight inside the console.

At least up to an iPhone 5s (maybe larger if angled), can sit flat hidden in the forward compartment with the USB and dual 12 v ports:

What is a miss is the lack of any power/charging ports for rear seat passengers!

My 2012 Gen Coupe had it in the centre console as you mentioned but prefer where it is in the 2015 Sedan. Easily accessible within arms length and hidden with the sliding door.

Much easier to plug in a radar detector than if the power point was inside the console.
