Center dashboard speaker grille removal?

Brand new Genesis 4.6 sedan, and under certain angles of illumination I see a dark area in the very front-center portion of this grille (see image). I have a message in to my dealer inquiring about it, but I was wondering if anyone knows whether this grille is easily removable. Not sure whether this spot is normal or not. I think there might be a stain of some kind on the underside of this grille or on whatever surface is below.

I have an inquiry in to both the dealer where I bought the car (Orlando) and one where I live (Miami). I've given both dealers a copy of the image and I'm waiting to hear back.

Thanks. I hope so. I wonder if anyone has had occasion to try to remove the grille. I didn't want to mess with it for fear I'd break something, but I'm dying to see what's on the underside.

I think your speaker cover is absolutely normal. What you are seeing is the circular outline of the underlying speaker. The speaker cover is typical in that it does not exactly parallel the outlines of the speakers it covers.

Grille replaced by the dealer, and the new one has no spot on it. I'm a happy camper again!

so far i love working on the genesis, this has been THE BEST PUT TOGETHER CAR, interms of ease of taking things apart and putting it back together, I HAVE EVER TOUCHED! and i have done a lot of cars...high quality clips, flexible panels and retain their shape...logically designed interior that makes removal an reinstallation ease...

i am totally impressed with Hyundai...I am a new kia owner too just fyi hehe so i noticed the same step up there as well.
