  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2021 GV80 Advanced Plus. The center armrest in the back (center) seats seems odd to me. It folds down flat against the seat 1) leaving it at angle that’s useless as an armrest and 2) kinda smashing the pop-out cupholder smashed up from the bottom and useless. Is this “the way it is” or is there something wrong with ours?
Thanks!
Dave

From the factory the rear seats are usually more upright than most people sit in them. If you will tilt the seat back on the one behind the driver to the angle most comfortable the armrest will sit level to the seat.

there is also this thread that discusses it.

Recline the seat behind the driver's seat slightly and the armrest will stay up like a normal arm rest.
