  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
Genesis G80
the incoming call alert from bluetooth is really loud and annoying. Sounds like a John Philips Sousa marching band. My G80 had a nice basic ring noise

I see no way to change it. At least turn down the volume. Any ideas?

If memory serves me well I seem to remember an option in the Bluetooth setup that allowed the ring to be passed on from the cell phone.

I looked everywhere on the set up pages and the option list from the display in the center of the driver's dashboard and found nothing.

What is the call alert noise you guys get?

Sorry I meant on the NAV screen.

I looked on NAV, everywhere else in the car, the instruction books, internet, and see nothing about changing the alert ring.
Curiously, my phone also rings (with the tone I picked) while the Bluetooth plays what is basically a loud march. Any way to therefore turn off the bluetooth alert that comes out of the car speakers?
