  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

1G Genesis Sedan (2009-2014)
Recently purchased a 2013 3.8 Genesis w/ Tech Package. Is there a way to change the screen that lists the Odometer and "Miles to Empty" to other screens? Was hoping there is a screen that lists oil remaining, and exact tire pressure PSI etc.

Also, any way to remote start the car from the key fob only?

Thanks

Disregard the screen question. Figured out the disp button the wheel changes it

You can RS (remote start) from factory key fob if you install an aftermarket system such as Viper, CompuStar (I highly recommend), Excalibur, etc. There are interfaces that will allow you to do just that. Remember it is not always the system it ends up being the installer period. As an installer, I have yet to install a RS on her because the install is very intricate. Lots of wiring and removing of panels on the the passenger side. Find a reputable installer whom you can BLAME if something is jacked up. Good luck!!!

I have a 2012 3.8 with Tech but dont have an option to see/view the PSI, not missing anything right?

As for the Remote Start I had Best Buy install a $240 system and so far it works good. Cannot start with the OEM keyfobs.

No it only shows me which tire but not the exact psi

Another question on headlights... I set it to AUTO hoping that it would detect when to turn on the HID's so I tested during the daytime and the HID's were on when they shouldn't have been. From the manual "
Auto light/AFLS position
(if equipped)
When the light switch is in the AUTO light
position while the engine is running, the
taillights and headlights will be turned
ON or OFF automatically depending on
the amount of light outside the vehicle.
If your vehicle is equipped with the adaptive
front lighting system (AFLS), it will
also operate when the headlamp is ON.

"
CAUTION
• Never place anything over the
sensor (1) located on the instrument
panel (Where is this?). This will ensure better
auto-light system control.
• Don’t clean the sensor using a
window cleaner. The cleaner may
leave a light film which could
interfere with sensor operation.
• If your vehicle has window tint or
other types of metallic coating on
the front windshield, the Auto
light system may not work properly"

Anyone else have a problem with this?
