  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just picked up my 4.8 Tech .... Love it! got rid of my 2nd 7 Series and after 24 hours, know that I never need to go back.... Anyway, I was told that the vehicle came with a seperate manual for the Lexicin system. If that's so, I never got one ( do I need to call the dealer?)

I've pretty much figured out all the settings and have changed the nav from English to Metric, but the temp still displays in F. Can anyone tell me how to change it over to Celsius. Thanks.

You can switch the temperature mode between Fahrenheit to Centigrade as follows; While pressing the MODE button, depress the DUAL button for 3 seconds or more. The display will change from Fahrenheit to Centigrade, or from Centigrade to Fahrenheit.

Ditto to what Joedoe said.

No seperate manual for the Lexicon. Its all in the Owners Manual.

The IS a seperate manual for the DIS. I.E., you should have two manuals. The Owners Manual and the DIS Manual.

Enjoy

Go to www.hmaservice.com, establish an account (takes less than a minute), then go the the "Service Information" section and click the "OM" link (owners manuals). Down-select to your model and year (or just enter your VIN). You can then download all the various manuals for your car.
