Cheapest route to Update 2015 Navigation

I think you can update your firmware for free through the myhyundai website (i did). If your area hasnt added a lot of streets lately and this might be preferable to paying for new maps ~$160. I dont have an Ultimate and this gave me 3d maps (which I actually dont like) and Android Auto.

You may need the secondary USB key too, its for when the update button is greyed out.

I cannot get it on the My Hyundai Website. I think the Ultimate is different in that regard. Only the non-Ultimate versions get the updates.

The SD card for this update..can it be a Sandisk 16gb or does it have to be an Automotive SD card only if u buy separate?

The cheapest way to update the navigation IMHO would be to do the Android Auto/Apple Car Play update. You will never have to pay for an update again as Google constantly updates their maps.

Where's the "Dislike" button... Ultimate package Genesis don't get the free update. That is just wrong...

If I find a sd card on ebay, that says it is used will it work in my car or is it locked to the first vehicle it was opened in?

As far as I know the cards are tied to the original vehicle

The info is a 1 time download. I tried to update a friends with my used card and it would not let me.
