  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As I was driving to work, I got a message on my head unit screen that "maintenance is due soon" message. When I got to my office, my CEL was on. I don't know what it could be and I know I am asking to produce Fort Knox out of a CEL message.

My car got the left turbo charger feed pipe replaced last month (per Genesis Recall), so far nothing wrong with the car. I changed the oil 2 weeks ago and that is almost muscle memory and nothing seems out of whack. The car drives well, not sure if a bad batch of gas or possibly a bad fuel cap. Don't know if the bluelink message and CEL have any correlation. Not to mention my car no longer has bluelink due to the end of the 3G service going offline some time ago.

Thanks for everyone's time,

Eddie

Sorry, no way to even guess from that without the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s).

I know and I do apologize for the vague question and post. Just grasping at straws before I can get the car diagnosed.

I know this is really vague...I was just trying to think out loud and see if anyone may have gotten a similar instance.

thanks again

Well after a diagnostic test done it’s the infamous P0390. Camshaft position sensor.

Any leads on who may have replaced theirs already?
