  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just wondering what method every one uses when detailing the exterior? I just ordered chemical guys citrus wash and gloss for use in a foam cannon. Any one familiar with this product?

I use Honeydew Snow Foam and love the amount of foam it produces.

I havent ever used their products but from what others have said they have a great product

I also have the honeydew snow foam and use it as a pre-wash to lift the grit.

Works like a CHAMP.

Let us know what you think about the wash & gloss.

I get great results with Chemical Guys honeydew snow foam car wash applied with the blaster foam gun. Also use Chemical Guys diablo wheel and rim cleaner along with their tire kicker tire shine product. Great stuff!

Their "new car smell" green bottle is the best thing I have ever bought it's the closest you can get to the new car smell, if that's what you're looking for. I know you where asking about the exterior but I wanted to mention this anyways.

I have mine ceramic coated and it's easy to wash. Try to use beadmaker as drying aid and it doubles as a protection over clear coat.

I use Chemical Guys White Light after a good wash, and follow up with Hydro Slick. That combo seems to work pretty well for me. Of course, make sure you claybar the car after you wash it before you do anything else.

This was after letting CG Snow Foam dwell for a minute or two.

Only stuff I'll use on my ride. 😎

Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam in a foam gun on a hose (I don't have a foam cannon for a pressure washer) for a pre-wash soaking, then Meguiar's Ultimate wash & wax (The yellow stuff in a ~28 oz. bottle) is what I use most of the time. They both smell great, as well.
