Chipped paint on the edge of the bumper

Brand new car less then 600km (owned 3 weeks). My sone noticed this when i was picking new car. Apparently they missed this (Yeah). Anyway I decided to keep the car. In real life it looks almost invisible it's not peeling & it's only on the edge of the bumper (paint in 1/4 metal panel is perfect). Dealer obviously wants to fixe it (we'll fix it, don't worry - yes I've heard this before). Is there anybody here with experience to tell me how to fix it properly? A little touch up or will have to spray it? The last thing I need it's a spraying job & blending etc. What do you guys thing?

Hello Jack. Sorry this happened. This is unfortunate, but I think you should've addressed this before leaving the lot with the car. Obviously, it wasn't a big enough deal for you to refuse the car.

In my humble opinion...Leave it be. Spray/blend is the only true fix, which is too much trouble. Again, my opinion. Touch up paint will make the blemish more noticeable as well.

Thanks. Spraying is not problem as long it is done by pros in a body shop but not by mechanics in the dealership which I’d never allow. The question is how much they have to spray? I’d probably visit a couple of body shops to get professional opinion. BTW yes I accepted the car. The other option would be wait 3-6 months and we needed the car now.
The car is fantastic no regrets. I just want to fix it the right way that’s all!

Can't tell from that picture where the defect is. My car also had a tiny bit of paint missing at one corner, but not as bad as other cars, where the bumper rubs against the fender even worse. My car also has paint missing on the bumper-hood seam (open the hood, and look about 2mm below the vertical edge into the engine comparment, by the Genesis emblem. Just got the factory touch-up paint, and will paint those areas myself. No way I'd leave my car just for that, which I'll actually do better. If it was a long scratch, then it'd be hard to fix, but not those 2 defects. Good luck.

Thamks guys. Obviously I've dealt with the issue when I was collecting the car. There're only two options at that time - reject the car (wait for the next one a few months) or accept it which I did. They promised to fix it. It's just how they're going to do it is my concern. Probably it's time for a couple of professional opinions from body shops.
