  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Chrome Delete

Ask @Toddasaurus I'm sure he will help you.

In case you didn't already know, once the bumper cover is removed you have access to a number of screws on the backside that hold the grill in place. Loosen those and you can remove the grill!

Picture for reference...

Edit: LMK if you need help removing the bumper cover..!

^ now time to wrap the window trim! Props for your efforts so far. I’m sure others will follow.

Window trim is next, then badges. Saving the grille for last because thats going to require some experimentation to figure out technique.

Did a bit more. Rear bumper chrome is blacked out, and you can see a little preview of the other accent work we're working on as well.

Nice work!

I havent been able to work on this as much as Id like and the window trim is presenting some unexpected challenges, but I got the badges done this weekend:

FYI the spare hood badges for sale on the forum store dont fit the G70, the locator pegs are spaced incorrectly.

I got quoted 500 USD for chrome delete including grill (only the frame) or 420 w/o grill. I might try to look around for a OEM black grill but I doubt I can find one. Any ideas? Or paint the damn thing lol

All the Korean G70 owners I've asked get theirs hydro dipped. I haven't checked but I'd like to know the pricing on getting that done over here.
