  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Got in 2011 Genesis 4.6 the other morning (it is getting a little cold in NE Ohio already) and 3 out of 4 tires were blinking on the TPMS, same thing happened last year when it got cold. So I stopped at Preston Hyundai in Boadman, OH on my way to work. I knew they just had to add some air and better for them to do it while I drink coffee than pay a buck at the gas station. I pull into the enclosed bay and walk over to the service administrator and tell her what I need. She never remembers me or the car. She looks at the car and says "I don't think that we can reset TPMS on a Chrysler". I looked at her and then at my car just to make sure I wasn't smoking crack that morning then back at her. To her credit she did say "Oh that is a Genesis" before I could say WTF? :D

SOOOO, what chrysler does the Genney look like?

Must be the new 400... lolz

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The only cars women can reliably identify are Porsche, BMW and Rolls. And you thought it was your car that was getting you laid all those years.

You guys are way off, female service writers are hired to deal with women who are over 50% of service customers, they are perceived as more trustworthy.....true in my case!

What is really wrong here is "reset the TPMS" ; no, no, no , tires only needed air. Sshe needs some training.

I showed my wife a genesis that had the oem wings and she thought it was a chrysler also, so I understand the confusion. :)

Then she said "holy crap that is a nice car!" so I'm pretty sure she is going to let me buy one when I go to the dealership tomorrow. Pretty excited!
